Bulletin: More good news comes in for Paul Liebrandt's The Elm in Williamsburg, this time from critic Pete Wells at The New York Times. "He has ratcheted down the complexity and the number of surprises in his cooking. This could have dumbed down the cuisine, but it has focused its pleasures instead. He has tied one hand behind his back and made that seem like an advantage." More glowing feedback on The Elm (they serve "Summer Garden" and smokey bacon XO sauce, too!) as Williamsburg continues it's culinary rise this way >
