Bulletin:  I reviewed the new Greenpoint waterfront restaurant Glasserie this week in the Brooklyn Paper. Housed in a former glass factory, it was one of the better meals I've had in the borough lately — the food subtle and sexy, strongly spiced Mediterranean fare without being overly forward. And despite uncomfortable antique chairs, the space is equally subtle and sexy, a spacious room with low lighting, exposed brick and jars filled with reeds and flowers. more >
